Oregon is structurally unique — you need both a trade license (through the Building Codes Division) AND a Construction Contractors Board (CCB) license to operate. Two separate agencies, two separate renewal cycles. Skipping either makes your work illegal.
Oregon's dual-credential structure is the single biggest compliance trap for out-of-state contractors. Most states issue one license per trade; Oregon expects you to maintain a Building Codes Division trade license and a CCB business registration in parallel — each with its own renewal date.
TradesIQ tracks Oregon license renewals, CE hours, bonds, and insurance certificates in one dashboard — with automated reminders before anything lapses.
